— FIRST IMPRESSIONS —
APPEARANCE At this point of her time in this world, Wanda has exchanged her burnt-orange hair for her original brunette. It's grown a couple more inches now, nearly reaching her waist. She's 5'6", slim, with green eyes. Her hair is almost always down, but she will tie it up in a ponytail or bun once in a while. Her face is usually set in a cold expression, her lips tending to be turned downwards, her eyes unfriendly. [ x ] [ x ]
CLOTHING Wanda tends to always dress with a red clothing article, her favorite being a shawl she can wear over her shoulders, with a variety of rings on her fingers and simple silver necklaces with red gems. At her leisure, while in her home, she'll wear sweatpants, jeans, and shirts of the more modern variety that she conjures with her magic. To fit in with the crowd of Abraxas, she wears more bohemian-like clothing of the dress variety. She's trying out wearing trousers now and then amidst the locals. [ x ] [ x ] [ x ] [ x ]
DEMEANOR Wanda is a little cold towards others—her expression is usually tight and grimacing, her shoulders wound up and her arms crossed. She doesn't want to be the center of attention and sticks to the sidelines. She warms up significantly after becoming familiar with people. As of late, however, she's taken on a more nurturing role and tries to approach others more often.
AURAL Wanda's from Sokovia, and it shows when she speaks. Under the tutelage of Natasha Romanoff for a number of years, she learned to modulate her accent so she can sound awfully American if she wants to. However, unless stated otherwise, she'll be speaking with a Sokovian accent. [ x ] [ x ] [ x ]
OLFACTORY Floral scent with powdery tones. She uses magic to create actual shampoo, body wash, soap, deodorant, so she's never not without smelling clean.
— SKILLS —
PSIONIC ENERGY MANIPULATION Wanda is able to use her magic in blasts and waves, being able to bend at will whatever target she aims at. This energy manifests itself in a red color around her hands, and she can thus manipulate the energy it creates. TELEKINESIS falls as a standard under this category. She can use telekinesis to move objects and even individuals, being able to use her psionic energy manipulation to affect and control molecules and particles. She has used these powers for feats as simple as moving wooden blocks while suspending them in the air, to stopping a train from its high-speed derailment. The stronger she’s gotten, the more capable she is in using her powers to lift and move heavier objects, including people, and has shown to be capable of using this branch of powers to telekinetically repair objects at a molecular level. Basically, if the object has mass and a structure, Wanda can most likely manipulate it. In the same way that she can repair and bind objects together through her telekinesis and psionic energy manipulation, Wanda can also use her energy to completely DISINTEGRATE objects.
FORCEFIELD GENERATION Wanda can make a barrier of red energy around herself to protect herself and others, and deflect attacks. Not only has she used this as a defense mechanism, but she has also used it as a barrier to protect herself when falling from great heights and land safely should she crash land. This is generally very useful, as she isn’t a close-contact combatant, and gives her a defensive edge over those who are.
FLIGHT Wanda can modulate the energy around her hands to create a sort of blast to help propel herself up in the air. She does not fly by willing herself to do so, but by manipulating the gravity around herself. She can levitate several feet up in the air and travel by this means.
MENTAL MANIPULATION Through her psionic abilities, Wanda can also apply a fair deal of TELEPATHIC abilities; she can read minds, communicate telepathically, and experience the thoughts and memories of others. This is something she needs to actively do in order to trigger, considering she has to focus the blast of her powers towards her target. With this also comes the ability of mentally and emotionally manipulating others, using a type of illusory hypnosis and leaving those under her ‘spell’ in a sort of trance. She can manipulate memory, thoughts, actions, emotions and the senses of others at will; she would also use this to EMOTIONALLY MANIPULATE others by eliciting fear and emotional pain. However, this is an ability that she tries to not use as often anymore, even if she’s inadvertently used it in more recent events. [ Here is an opt-out post! ]
As of canon update:
  • MIND CONTROL/EMOTIONAL MANIPULATION: She will no longer have to use her hands, but Wanda will still be required to be in close proximity with a person
  • TELEPATHY: Using Sokovian chants, Wanda will now be also able to focus and find someone within a space. The space in which she can locate or sense someone using this power will be limited to a 1 mile radius. NPCs and other characters of power may be able to cloak themselves.
  • CHAOS MAGIC MANIPULATION Chaos Magic is the name of Wanda’s magical abilities, and according to legend, only the Scarlet Witch can use this magic. The Scarlet Witch is a being capable of spontaneous creation, meaning that she can use her magic for different effects without needing incantations. This type of magic takes on the same red color as Wanda’s psionic abilities. It is raw magic power that stems more from emotion than any specific logic, and it has proven to be used even subconsciously in order to protect Wanda from pain. Being the magic used by a being capable of spontaneous creation means that not only can she theoretically CREATE LIFE (like her twin sons, or breathing life into plastic butterflies and a stork painting), Wanda can also MANIPULATE REALITY. She can create small zones where reality follows her wishes and her rules, easing anyone who enters it into whatever the reality is. This works fascinatingly well with her mental manipulation powers, as the individuals stuck in this manipulated reality would be, in fact, magically ‘hypnotized’. She doesn’t just manipulate individuals, though; Wanda can manipulate objects around her, through TRANSMUTATION, thus changing their shape and molecular structure.
    Wanda would still be able to create life, though it will be limited in size and sentience. Animals up to donkey-sized and any manner of plant are acceptable.
    Additionally, with Chaos Magic, Wanda can perform CONJURATIONS to create things from nothing—from wedding rings to dog collars, and even an entire house within her area (or Hex). Within the Hex, Wanda can manipulate THE PASSAGE OF TIME and the WEATHER. Additionally, she can control ELEMENTS too, such as electricity, fire, and water.
    Time manipulation is not possible in Abraxas due to the Singularity's interference.
    This has yet to be confirmed as to whether it only occurs within the Hex, but Wanda can also BESTOW POWERS upon others, either directly or indirectly. When she birthed her sons, she gave them super-speed and psionics powers, and through direct contact with her magic, was able to give powers to Monica Rambeau. Most impressively, she replicated the power of the Mind Stone in a now-dead Vision to give him life and all the powers he had when living. She can even MANIPULATE ILLUSIONS in real time in order to trick others to see what she wants them to see—not within their minds—but in the outside world.
    Wanda would be able to implant illusions in other PC's (with permission) but would not be able to change the external world to match the illusion.
    TELEPORTATION Wanda can also teleport herself from one place to another with the twirl of a hand, and uses this enhanced ability to move from one spot to another quickly enough, likely with the help of manipulating time itself.
    Wanda would be able to teleport about the Settlements. However she cannot teleport past Solvunn's borders nor take any other characters with her.
    PROTECTION SPELL This is via the use of magic runes on walls (or contained space). This allows the sole witch who cast the runes to be the only one to be able to use magic in that given space.
    ENERGY ABSORPTION She can absorb the magic of others and transform it into her own Chaos Magic, amplifying her powers to an extent. Wanda can do this without killing her target, just weakening them.
    This would be less of a power absorption and more like a power drain. Some power would be temporarily gained from it, but the original source will remain as is.
    ASTRAL PROJECTION Wanda is capable of projecting her astral form without losing consciousness of her physical self. So, whilst her physical body is going about mundane, every day things, her astral body can be doing something else.
    HEALING/PHYSICAL/POWER RESILIENCE: She can be more durable than the average human and heal more severe injuries quicker, but she can still be capable of being injured and/or killed.
    MAGIC RESISTANCE: Wanda will be affected very little by spells and magic, but the Singularity still affects her, as well as other NPC magic or spells as required for game plot reasons.
