โ€ข HORIZON (03) โ€ข

Wanda's domain in the Horizon is a familiar sight to those who have come here before. A tunnel of leaves and blossoms, no longer leading the way to a forest with rather unfriendly attributes. Instead, the walk is rather pleasant, the path slowly opening up and leading towards a door in a deadend alley. Anyone who attempts to come into Matt's domain will, too, find that this very same entrance greets them on the way there. The door can be opened, and once in, it'll lead the visitor through a set of stairs up towardsโ€”
New York. The familiar sight of busy streets and a bright cityscape. This is Hell's Kitchen, to be exact, with the sky changing according to the flow of time; from golden sunrises to lavender sunsets, with gorgeous azure skies in between, at times interloped with the gray clouds bringing forth rain. The city changes with the seasons, chillier and rainier during the autumn and winter monthsโ€”with a chance of snow; warmer and sunnier during the spring and summer. The sound of sirens and cars in the street fill the air, along with the sound of people going about the streets below. This is the sight seen from inside the spacious loft. The loft oscillates between being a city apartment and a mountain cabin. It will always be spacious, but it will always change just a bit depending on whether it is Wanda or Matt with their focus on the place.
The loft has one particularity in the shape of a dog that moves about and acts the way one would expect a dog to. Her name is Mary, and she's overly affectionate. The loft boasts of different amenities, too, from a narrow kitchen to an adjacent dining room. The space has touches of Wanda's personality, and not just Matt's rather bland and empty idea of a living space; there are carpets draped about the floor, on the stairs that lead to the bedroom, of different cuts and designs. She keeps a cluttered bookshelf in the living room, where a television also sits, and a corner for a music area that doubles as a sunroom, a series of pictures and paintings on the wall, mirrors, along with a specific one of her own choosing. Wanda's clutter also includes a series of magic-infused terrariums. Just look at it sparkle from the other side of the glass, maybe she will mention what they really are if asked. There is a fire escape to sit out on, if desired. The bedroom sits on the second floor, because what is a home if there's no place to sleep on? This is the part of the loft that feels the most like it's a cabin in the woods. Outside, there's an alleyway opposite the one used to enter the loft.
There is one door that leads out towards the hallway and into the apartment proper. Some doors do not open, but others do. One door will lead to Fogwell's gym, at Matt's behest, and another door will lead out towards the stairs. There are two options here. The first is to go down, which leads either to the lobby and out to the front, or down further another set of steps to a dark chapel; empty and cold, one could sit here if desired. The other route, to go up, will lead directly to the rooftop, and one will find the contrast of the cityscape with a garden. It is lush and well-kept, at times so dense it hides the fact that there is a city out there at all. For those familiar with Wanda's space before, they will find a familiar place within the dense vegetationโ€”a small graveyard, with flowers ever blooming. Funnily enough, in another area of the garden, one can find a certain Doctor's blue police box. Don't worry, he has a permit to park there, between the ravens that have made the rooftop garden their home and other decor not worth paying attention to.
